Rose petals,

red,

white,

pink,

Rose petals,

how much more until they break,

me down,

from the poison of loving you.

Rose petals,

trickling into my soul,

by the lure of your passion for me.

Rose petals,

I can accept no more

because if I do,

my heart will be completely yours,

Rose petals.
